Question (below) asked before I found Santa Clarita and Fresno also offering marathons that coincide with the time around my birthday in early November NEXT year. Thus the question/answer relates to those options, not just Albuquerque. Training is training.
Further, the notion of a marathon is spurred by the horrible condition I am in, AND the fact that my birthday NEXT November (2026) is a Big One, at least where my sensibility re such landmarks is concerned.
