Smith and Buddhism Sac'to airport yesterday

Smith, a man in his mid-fifties, I'd guess, seemed to be on a mission of sorts when he approached me in the Sacramento airport yesterday, to introduce me to Nichirin Buddhism, with which I have some experience, briefly, 30-something years ago. I didn't interrupt him with this but did insert to kind of cut to the chase re Been There Dine That Not Really Interested, presented respectfully.

Fortunately brevity was helped by the fact that my flight would soon be boarding, and then was, to end the exchange, after I had dropped in his lap that I'm more of the No Guru, No Teacher, No Method School, to which he nodded, knowing there wasn't much room to take it any further.

I was sitting when he approached me, I stood near the end of his presentation, throw8ing him off a little, not sure why. Told him "just to see you eye to eye." At the end I shook his hand, gave him a quick embrace, got in line to board my flight home, to L.A., where the temple he was recruiting for is located.

That's about, just for the record. I got in line, looked back for Smith, found him talking to his next recruit, a woman.
